And try our winner did, her application arrived first in the beginning of the year.
It's our honor to introduce you the 2016 PHYLLIS BRAMSON Scholarship winner Mei Ou.
First of all, her CACFP Agency are CACFP take ACTION Challenge ACTIONEERS! Congratulations to them as they sent in some great challenge stories.
"Aloha! My name is Mei Ou. I was a preschool director and teacher for 14 years before taking the position at People Attentive To Children (PATCH) as the CCFP Program Manager. PATCH is the sponsoring organization for Daycare Homes in Hawaii.
I have been working as the Child Care Food Program Manager at PATCH for 2 years. It has been a wonderful and fruitful experience. I have learned so much about the Child and Adult Care Food Program and look forward to continuing this journey for a very long time.
I love this career so much that I hope I can retire carrying this title. I am very thankful for this scholarship and this opportunity to enhance my knowledge on Child and Adult Care Food Program and to meet and learn from all of you."
Mei Ou
Keep a look out for Mei during the conference and make her feel right at home and don't forget to say ALOHA!
