Join us in welcoming Carolyn Brown to the Roundtable. Some of you might remember Carolyn when whe worked as a Visiting Educator and Special Assistant to the Director at the California Department of Education, Nutrition Services Division from 1999 through 2004.
Carolyn started at the local level as coordinator of a non-profit organization Special Food Service Program for Children - Year-Round/ Summer sponsor of 53 sites in Minneapolis, MN from the late 60's to 1974. Served on a state level at the Minnesota Department of Education, Food and Nutrition Service from 1974 to 1999. She also spent some time at the Network for a Healthy California, Department of Public Health from 2005 to 2012. Recently Carolyn has been consulthing with a variety of State Agencies and organizations including Hawaii.
She will be taking on the task of facilitating the CCFP Roundtable meetings, the Advisory Committee and the CCFP Roundtable Conference. Carolyn is very passionate and knowledgeable about the Child and Adult Care Food Program, its history and our success.
